We love lofts. I think most people love lofts along with us. Lofts are spacious, unique, and a rare thing to find in Toronto. Hard loft conversions in Toronto are somewhat of a rarity, compared to cities like Chicago. Toronto does have a very unique selection of loft conversions for sale regularly. I would even go as far as to say that while we may not have as many traditional loft spaces as other cities, we have some of the very best and most interesting.

We took some time this week to put together a list of our absolute favorite loft spaces for sale in Toronto right now! Sign-up below to unlock this currated list and direct links to these properties. Happy hunting!

1. This blessed loft at 175 Jones Ave

Let’s start strong with what can only be described as a unique loft space. Full-disclosure, this on is considered a “townhouse” but it’s a hard-conversion from an old Church so we’re going with it. Inside the recently completed St. Leslieville Church Lofts, this unit takes up the full width of the church and comes with tons of upgrades. Three storeys and a wide-open concept make this 2+1 Bedroom / 3 Bath a total loft goal!

2. This rare unit in Toronto’s Toy Factory Lofts

Toronto’s Toy Factory Lofts is hands-down one of the best hard-conversions in the city, almost every unit is unique! This unit, in particular, gets our seal of approval for a couple of reasons. First off, its sprawling 1,100+ SF, and who doesn’t love a sprawling loft space; it’s got exposed brick all along one wall – beautiful! Lastly, this has a VERY manageable and resellable floorplan! An important thing to keep in mind with any condo/loft investment. How could you not see yourself living here?

3. 68 Broadview #117

Ok, So now you’re like – Finally, some brick and beam action! Well for sure that’s one of this loft’s selling features. This is a rarely offered style unit with both brick and beam as well as two levels of loft living totaling approx 1,000 SF of living space. This exceptionally done conversion is top-notch and the finishes in the unit have been hand-picked. Stunning job!

4. This unit in the Corktown District Lofts

They are calling it a modern bungalow in the sky – but I’m pretty sure it’s got moderately higher ceilings. This 2 Bed+den/2 Baths boasts 1,335 SF of lofty living space – and it even comes with a private entrance away from the rest of the building. Yes, please. It’s also worth noting this beautiful loft unit comes with two tandem parking spots – I’m only mentioning them because they’re tandem. When we look at the usual dream-check-list of buyers, this loft checks all the boxes!

5. This ‘loft-style’ condo we had to include because it’s just so… loft!

This bad boy is located at 22 Wellesley St, right downtown and it’s breathtaking! This south-facing, 2 storey loft is 1,420 SF 1+1 bedroom/2 Bath; and has ceilings as high as 18 Ft. Unlike a traditional conversion this one was built from scratch so it features exposed polished concrete – this is the ultimate in modern Toronto loft spaces.
