Forest Hill is one of Toronto’s most affluent neighbourhoods, not to mention most sought after. The area is truly lovely, with some of the most opulent properties in the city and some of the most upscale boutiques and cafes you could ever want.

Here are five things to do in Forest Hill.

1. Visit Toronto’s Castle

Toronto has a deep vein of history and there’s no better way to get a sense of the old city that visiting Toronto’s Casa Loma. Built-in the late 1800’s as a private home, the castle is now home to a museum on the history of the city and the castle itself. It also has stunning gardens to meander through on a weekend afternoon.

2. Spadina Museum

The Spadina Museum is a historic mansion on Spadina Road in Toronto, and it’s beautiful. Now a museum, operated by the City of Toronto’s Economic Development & Culture division. It’s a very Instagramable pretty much all year round.

The Petroff Gallery is a Forest Hill favourite. This contemporary gallery features works from over 200 Canadian artists. It’s worth a wander around even if you’re not in the mood to buy because you’re saving for a new condo.

4. Ice Cream at Village Chill

It’s a bit late in the year, but this is still hand-down some of the best tasting ice-cream in the city! Inside/beside the Village Market, this is a neighbourhood favourite for good reason.

5. Go House Hunting

Probably not to buy because houses in Forrest Hill go anywhere from $5 Million to $25 Million plus! Oh, and are they a sight to see. Beautiful mansions dawn the streets of Forest Hill amidst lush trees and old names.

If Forest Hill is your must-have neighbourhood, nows a good time to start looking at the new condo developments that are in the pre-sale pipeline! Forest Hill Condos is a great example. This luxury boutique development is a rare opportunity to own a piece of this affluent neighbourhood. Toronto is on the rise so getting in the market in a neighbourhood like Forest Hill is a bonus to an already growing market.
