Toronto has a deep vein of history and there’s no better way to get a sense of the old city that visiting Toronto’s Casa Loma. Built-in the late 1800’s as a private home, the castle is now home to a museum on the history of the city and the castle itself. It also has stunning gardens to meander through on a weekend afternoon.
2. Spadina Museum
The Spadina Museum is a historic mansion on Spadina Road in Toronto, and it’s beautiful. Now a museum, operated by the City of Toronto’s Economic Development & Culture division. It’s a very Instagramable pretty much all year round.
