It’s no secret that Toronto loves it’s history and the clocktower from Toronto’s Firehouse No.3 is no exception. Long ago the firehouse was closed down the building has been a mixed use of retail and residential since.

Cresford Developments and ArchitectsAlliance are now incorporating the iconic tower into the front of their new 38 storey condominium tower “Halo”, and from the looks of the renderings it couldn’t fit in more perfectly.

The building has already kicked off construction and has temporarily moved the clocktower while they build the majority of the development. The tower will be incorporated into the building along with a enamel “Ghost” representation of the original firehall which was erected with the clocktower in 1871.
